The flight experience requirements for a glider category rating are as follows.
If you have logged:
Less than 40 hours in heavier-than-air aircraft, you need to log | |||

20 Flights in a Glider, including | |||
3 Flights in Preparation for the Practical Test | |||
2 Hours Solo flight in a Glider, including | |||
10 Launches & Landings |
If you have logged:
More than 40 hours in heavier-than-air aircraft, you need to log | ||

10 Solo Flights in a Glider and | ||
