The flight experience requirements for a glider category rating are as follows.
If you have logged:
| Less than 40 hours in heavier-than-air aircraft, you need to log | |||
| 10 Hours flight time in a Glider, including | |||
| 20 Flights in a Glider, including | |||
| 3 Flights in Preparation for the Practical Test | |||
| 2 Hours Solo flight in a Glider, including | |||
| 10 Launches & Landings | |||
If you have logged:
| More than 40 hours in heavier-than-air aircraft, you need to log | ||
| 3 Hours flight time in a Glider, including | ||
| 10 Solo Flights in a Glider and | ||
| 3 Flights in preparation for the Practical Test | ||
