Signaling Maneuvers

Overview

With more widespread use of radio-based communication, the most challenging aspects of maneuver-based visual communication are:

  1. remembering the proper signal (both the glider pilot and tow pilot)
  2. the glider pilot’s ability to physically fly a recognizable signaling maneuver
  3. the tow pilots recognition of the signal.
