This issue of Condor Corner was supposed to cover my use of flight simulation to prepare for my glider ground launch endorsement training.  When the editor of Soaring asked that I incorporate my winch training report into the January 2013 issue, Frank and I had to scramble to come up with a theme for December.  The result was the Condor Christmas Buying Guide.
